About Cosmin-Ovidiu Manci<\/strong><\/p>\n Hello everyone and welcome to my website!<\/p>\n Like you have already seen or maybe you know my name is Cosmin Ovidiu Manci and I worked as a biologist at the\u00a0Retezat National Park<\/a> Administration in Romania. From 1 september 2009 I left the job from Retezat National Park and now I try to concentrate more on my PhD.<\/p>\n Ever since I was a young boy I was passionate about nature, plants, bugs, animals\u2026you name it. I used to spend endless hours surrounded by a fantastic world, and as I grew up this feeling didn\u2019t leave (I think that only grow with me at the same time). After finishing primary school I continued my studies at the Forestry Highschool in Timi\u0219oara, and after this, one of the obvious choices (at least for me) was to study Biology. This was done at Timi\u0219oara West University. I finished my MSc and PhD at the \u201cBabe\u0219\u2013Bolyai\u201d University in Cluj working on dragonflies.<\/p>\n During these years I was involved in different projects and published several papers.<\/p>\n Any time it is possible I try to freeze some of the moments I am fortunate to see in nature. I do this in photos\u2026 and all these websites are in part because of this.<\/p>\n If interested in my scientific activity the best will be to see my account on Research Gate<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n ********<\/p>\n About this website<\/strong><\/p>\n What about this website?<\/p>\n On this website I am trying to put together a photo album for insects that I find and photograph in my trips, but also I try to put there (in time) some information about species.
